Our Story
Where a love of history meets the hard problem of scale
Heritage Data Labs was born from a simple but stubborn frustration: millions of pages of military history exist in archives around the world, but most of it is effectively invisible. The records are fragile, the handwriting is faded, and the sheer volume makes traditional research methods impractical at scale.
We set out to solve that problem — not as an academic exercise, but because heritage matters. The stories of the people who served, sacrificed, and shaped history deserve to be found, not buried in boxes that no one has the time or resources to open.
