How Funds Are Used

Heritage Data Labs uses advanced AI to digitize, index, and make searchable military records from World War I, World War II, and Vietnam — free and open to families, researchers, and historians. Support funds the scanning, transcription, and hosting behind our programs:

  • Free records search at MedalSearch.net, where military service records and medal citations are indexed and searchable free of charge.
  • Our current projects: the WWII General Orders & Enlistment Records Index, the South African WWI & WWII War Diary Search Initiative, and the Vietnam War Intelligence & MIA Records Collaboration. See Current Projects.

Shop Proceeds

Items sold through Badge Bandit, a Heritage Data Labs shop, are donated to Heritage Data Labs, and 100% of the proceeds support the programs described above.

Shop purchases are not tax-deductible donations.
